Who can see your documents

How your documents are kept private and safe.
  • Your lawyer's firm sees what you send. The other party and their lawyer can't see your page or your documents.
  • As part of the legal duty of disclosure, your lawyer may disclose some of your documents to the other party's lawyer. Your lawyer decides what is disclosed and when, and keeps a record of it. Ask them if you have questions.
  • Your documents are stored securely in Australia.
  • Signing in needs your password and a code from your phone.
  • Emails we send you never include document names or amounts, just a link to sign in.
  • If your lawyer shares the balance sheet with you, you'll see View the balance sheet on your page.

When your matter is finished, your lawyer's firm closes it. You can still sign in and see what you sent, but can't add anything. It's deleted after the period your lawyer's firm keeps files for.

Still stuck? Contact the law firm that invited you; their details are at the foot of your page.
